Ingrid Yates has always had a love for residential properties and interior design. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Idaho, Ingrid moved back to her hometown of Coeur d’Alene, where she worked as an interior designer for Burke Design Group. “I designed residential interiors from high-end homes and vacation homes to condominiums,” she shares. In addition, Ingrid is experienced in commercial design including financial institutions and large office spaces. With an acute eye for detail and expertise in residential living, real estate was bound to be the next step in her journey.
“I have always had an interest in residential real estate but have been fortunate enough to be home with my daughters while they were young and busy with activities,” Ingrid reflects. “Now that they are older, I felt it was time to follow a new dream and finally join the real estate world.”
Today, Ingrid is a Realtor with Northwest Realty Group. A Coeur d’Alene native, Ingrid knows the area well — from each neighborhood and area schools to the lakes and land in the country. “I have worked and played in North Idaho my entire life, so I am well-versed in all that our community has to offer,” she notes.

Ingrid is not only passionate about real estate but the opportunity to give back to her “beloved” community. “I love where I live and love to be involved in positive and productive ways,” she shares. “Giving back to our community creates a stronger, more resilient community.” For the past seven years, Ingrid has served on the EXCEL Foundation Board for School District 271 as well as spending many hours serving within area schools. She has made weekly food deliveries for the Coeur d’Alene Backpack Program and volunteers at Lutherhaven Ministries on the Fundraising Board.
