The 2026 North Idaho State Fair runs ten days at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds, drawing families from across the Inland Northwest. Carnival rides, 4-H and FFA livestock competitions, live music, fair food, and nightly grandstand events fill the grounds from August 21 through 30. The 2026 entertainment lineup brings Lee Brice on August 24 and Walker Hayes on August 25, with the Gem State Stampede PRCA Rodeo and Demolition Derby also on the schedule. The fair is Kootenai County's longest-running community gathering and is consistently among the highest-attended events of the year.
