Story Time in the Garden at New Leaf Nursery

New Leaf Nursery loves welcoming little ones to grow up surrounded by trees, soil, and ladybugs! On Wednesday, August 13, from 10 to 10:30 AM, kids ages 4–10 are invited to Story Time in the Garden—a special event led by Katie, Youth Services Librarian from Hayden Community Library.

This session is extra special: Susan Burke from Wings Rising, a local nonprofit supporting monarch butterflies, will join to share fascinating facts and release live monarchs into the garden! Afterward, milkweed plants will be available for purchase—perfect for attracting these beautiful pollinators to your own garden.

Plus, enjoy $5 face painting, coffee for the grown-ups, snacks, and a sweet garden-themed gift for every child, courtesy of New Leaf Nursery. Lil’ Sprouts Garden Club members get a limited-edition Monarch sticker to take home.
