Before it became a nationally recognized custom sauna designer, Symmetry Sauna was born inside the studio. Each design emerged from firsthand experience, built to serve, to heal, and to last. That perspective has become the foundation of their craftsmanship today.
Unlike most manufacturers, Symmetry Sauna operates with a deep understanding of what makes a sauna truly exceptional for daily use. Their saunas are built with the end user in mind: durable, visually stunning, and made to perform. “Every project begins with beauty and balance, because a beautiful sauna gets used more often, and regular use is where the benefits unfold,” says Heather.
Symmetry’s client list spans the nation, from homeowners creating wellness spaces to commercial clients including gyms, spas, professional sports teams, and other sauna studio owners. Each collaboration is guided by the same principle—to create something extraordinary that stands the test of time.
The team is also introducing new products that open exciting possibilities for design, including the Taive modular bench system, available exclusively through Symmetry, and new heat-tolerant lighting options that elevate the sauna experience.
While the custom build division takes the brand nationwide, Symmetry Sauna Studio brings that same philosophy home to Coeur d’Alene. Visitors are greeted with warmth, both from the staff and the soothing atmosphere of the space. First-time guests receive a guided tour and introduction to the studio’s practice and amenities.
Inside this contrast therapy studio, guests experience traditional sauna sessions, cold plunges, halo therapy, and red light therapy, all designed to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and support mental clarity. The studio also offers breathwork, Pilates, yoga, and strength classes, along with community workshops led by local wellness professionals.

Coeur d’Alene was a natural home for Symmetry Sauna Studio. It’s where the owners live, work, and find inspiration. When their first location flooded in early 2024, the outpouring of community support was overwhelming. Many customers stood by them, waiting patiently until their grand reopening 14 months later.
The team now looks forward to continued growth, including two new Symmetry Sauna Outdoor studios in Woodinville and Vantage, Washington.
