Spring ADVENTURES
Spring brings people out from winter slumber and back to socializing. April brings the Wine Extravaganza which features 65 different wines to taste. Golf courses from par-3 Ponderosa to Championship Coeur d’Alene Resort and Circling Raven are an excellent way to stretch the legs. Farmers markets begin in May, and in June, the annual Car d’Alene car show is a must see. Local galleries open up in the late afternoon for First Friday Artwalks, giving you a chance to mingle with local artists. Spring seasonal beers are out and ready to sample at more than a dozen local breweries.
Annual Golf and Walk
Family Promise of North Idaho holds their Annual Golf and Walk Fundraising Event in May at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course with a shot-gun start. The walkers begin in the evening and dinner is after. There is also a silent auction! This is a unique fundraiser because there are many ways you can participate. Art & Music Walks
Downtown Coeur d'Alene hosts fantastic music performances at local businesses on the fourth Friday each month from January through March before Art Walks begin on the second Friday of each month from April through December. The Music Walks are from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and give you the opportunity to visit many downtown businesses-turned-concert-venues and sample a wide variety of music from local artists. Whether you like jazz, rock, classical or pop, you will find music you enjoy. All of the participating businesses are open extended hours, and 2-hours of street parking is free. The Bartender's Ball
The Bartender's Ball, a fundraiser happening in March at the Coeur d'Alene Plaza Shops on Sherman, is a night filled with cocktails and appetizers, a silent and live auction, tons of giveaways, snacks and live entertainment. Coeur d'Alene Blues Festival
Happening in March, the Annual Coeur d'Alene Blues Festival, winner of the Inland Empire Blues Society - "Best Blues Event", is hosted at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.
