Tracing the origins of Easter

Tradition was intact.
Then came the moment no one expected.
Their teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, reframed the meal. What once looked backward suddenly pointed forward. Memory became promise. A private evening shifted public history, and the echo of that shift still carries across centuries.
The earliest followers of Jesus did not abandon their Jewish roots. They kept the feasts. They kept the rhythms. What changed was the meaning beneath them. The lamb gained a face ...

North Ridge Contracting Builds Fully Custom Homes
Design-build leadership serving North Idaho
By Like Media Team
North Ridge Contracting / North Ridge Homes builds fully custom homes, never variations of a standard plan. Based in Coeur d’Alene and serving North Idaho, Dale and Jessica Cargile focus exclusively on fully custom design-build projects, remaining personally involved in structure, layout, and finish decisions from concept through completion. By limiting the number of homes they take on each year, they stay closely connected to budgeting, coordination, and the steady stream of decisions that shape each home.
Dale and Jessica chose this path deliberately. They did not want to build the same thing over and over. Instead, they committed to fully custom homes that require detailed collaboration throughout the process. Each project brings different property conditions, architectural priorities, and financial considerations. “Our product is fully custom from floorplan to finishes, and we work hand in ...

Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre Sets the Stage
Three regional premieres and Broadway-caliber performances in 2026
By Like Media Team
For nearly six decades, Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre has shown that Broadway-caliber musical theatre belongs right here in North Idaho. Founded in 1967, the professional regional theatre has built a reputation for delivering full-scale productions that audiences routinely describe as “better than Broadway.” That legacy continues with a 2026 season designed to surprise, inspire, and elevate expectations for what summer theatre in Coeur d’Alene can be.
The 2026 lineup features three productions, all Tony Award winners or nominees, all new to the theatre’s stage, and all regional premieres. The season opens with Disney’s Frozen The Broadway Musical, running June 26 through July 5, followed by Come From Away from July 17 through July 26. The summer concludes with Titanic The Musical, on stage August 7 through August 16. Together, these shows reflect a season built on technical ...

Northwest Custom Homes Inc. Sets a Generational Standard
Built on discipline, durability, and longevity
By Like Media Team
For some builders, construction is a business. For others, it’s a lineage. At Northwest Custom Homes Inc., the standards guiding each project were shaped long before the first set of plans was drawn. Led by Eric and Luba Fendich, the North Idaho design-build firm specializes in high-end, fully custom residences throughout Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, and surrounding communities. Their homes, whether French-modern, mountain-modern, or transitional Northwest, reflect discipline, durability, and longevity.
For Eric, building is generational. “Building has been in my family for generations,” he says. “I grew up around job sites, tools, and the expectation that if you’re going to do something, you do it right.” That early foundation shaped the expectations the company maintains today. “My goal is simple: build it right, build it strong, and build it to last.”
Operating as a design-build firm, they follow a collaborative ...
